Mauro Schiavo is the founder and CEO of The Academy for Adventurers, a transformational coaching and leadership platform dedicated to helping individuals and organizations unlock courage, discipline, and purpose.
With a background in martial arts (black belts in Kung Fu and Krav Maga), life coaching, and experiential education, Mauro brings a powerful blend of mental clarity, physical mastery, and spiritual insight to his work.
His programs, workshops, and retreats—whether in corporate boardrooms or natural landscapes—are designed around four key pillars: Adventure, Battle, Growth, and Beauty.
Mauro has worked with clients across industries—from startups and educators to faith leaders and high-performers—guiding them to develop resilient mindsets, take bold action, and live more meaningful lives.
His mission is to awaken the hero in others, equip them with tools for transformation, and inspire a culture of purpose-driven living.

I started The Academy for Adventurers to help people like you and me live life with more courage, faith, and fire. I’ve walked through my own battles—internal and external—and discovered that real change happens when we stop waiting and start walking. That’s what I help others do.
Whether I’m coaching, teaching martial arts, hiking through the wild, or leading a retreat in a quiet chapel or city park, I’m all about guiding people to their next breakthrough. I believe in laughter, discipline, deep conversation, and not wasting time on surface-level living.
I live in South Florida with my amazing wife, and we’re always up for exploring new frontiers—whether that’s preparing for our first child or building something meaningful with our community. Life is the ultimate adventure. And I’m here to help others live it fully.
